Kitchen Done!

For those of you who don't know me very well, I am not the most patient person. If I want something I obsess about it until I can make it happen, in this case it takes hounding my husband and my mom. They can testify I don't know how to let up, but to be fair I get that from my mom. So here is my BEAUTIFUL kitchen......(minus window treatment)

 My awesome farmhouse sink!

 Check out my SUBWAY tile!

Love my appliances against the black galaxy granite!

This is my breakfast nook. ( I changed this last year, but it looks so much better with my beautiful kitchen.)

 Love my curtains! Thanks Mom!

I can't believe I have this kitchen! What a step up!

finally time to change the times!

This is my master bath, NO JOKE! It is the ORIGINAL from 1968!

My kitchen, I love my cabinets but NOT my counter tops or appliances.

My colorful formal living, it's a little dated.

Stay tuned for the updates I am doing, all in a matter of 6 weeks! Any changes I make I MUST thank my mom, Stephanie G. and of course Caro for their FABULOUS and much needed advice!
By the way, did I mention if I could have any other job it would be interior decorator! I LOVE this stuff! Just need a bigger bank account to make it happen!

And the Oscar Goes To....

My life in Miami has changed DRAMATICALLY in the last few years, definitely for the better, but one major change has been the BEAUTIFUL women I have met. And I am not only speaking on their actual appearance, but more on the inside. Miami is a hard place to find true friends, and I have been blessed to have met so many. Not only are they wonderful ladies, they also happen to have a love for throwing parties! There are 3 of us that call each other the Martica Estuarts. (aka Latin style Martha Stewart!)

After my Christmas craft party I gave my friend Daisy the buzz to want to throw a party, so we joined forces and threw an Oscar viewing party. It was AWESOME! The Martica Estuarts did NOT disappoint!

 Complete with red carpet!

 Goodie bags!
 The hostesses!

 Concessions

I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the ballot, but we had a ballot print out of all the categories. Whoever got the most right won the kitty. (Each girl put in $10) My friend Carolyn won! (to be fair she studied!) Love you Caro!
Thank you Ms. Daisy for a PERFECT evening!

Spirit Day

Every year the boys' school has Spirit Day for preschool, which is really a mini field day, just no first place, second place, etc. The boys are on a blue team or gold team, and the tradition continues throughout 5th grade. This year the theme was Olympics...

The boys had such a great time! They thought they were winners, but unfortunately for them, they run like their mommy!
