So it has always been my dream to be a soccer mom. And when I found out Duke was a boy (not going to lie wanted him to be a girl) I thought well at least I can be a soccer mom for many years to come! No lie, I really thought that.
Friday, was Ben's first game, and in my dad's words, "We don't have to worry about him getting a soccer scholarship." But he had fun, and that's all that matters. He is on team Spain, and even though I wasn't the appointed team soccer mom I took it upon myself to make cute soccer snacks for the team. If I had had more time I would have been more creative, but in the midst of a crazy week I was still able to pull this off.....
Black and white doughnut holes to make a big soccer ball. And I pulled out all the red and green goldfish and printed out the Spain symbol and stuck it to the zip-lock bag. Their jerseys are blue so I also bought blue Gatorade.
He was so excited and looked so cool! Go Spain! (but we lost)
The next day in light of our "victory" I took several of the boys to an indoor play area.
And then if that wasn't enough we went to Lime after for tacos. Yummmm....
Until the next soccer game.
