Legoland Take 2

As I was saying....this was such a memorable weekend for us all. Hard to believe we packed it all in in literally 24 hours! Even though we didn't need to leave the hotel, we decided we should. We woke up early the next morning and drove 45 minutes to the middle of no where and found it....LEGOLAND!

Honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. It was a blast! The boys ask all the time when are we going back?!

Legoland Take 1

I have been meaning to post this for months, and now that I am at home enjoying spring break I can write about.....LEGOLAND!

Our dear friends, the Williamson's moved to California, but they came back in December to visit. Kristi and I got the bright idea to take the kids to Legoland by ourselves with 4 boys (what were we thinking?!)! But actually it ended up being one of the most memorable weekends I have had with my boys. Legoland, is actually NOT in Orlando, but in the middle of no where. (I still don't understand why they chose the random location.) However, we made the most of the weekend and stayed in Orlando at the Nickelodeon. Now my feelings on the hotel are mixed. It is by and large the BEST place to stay if you are a kid, but as a parent, ummm...not so much. The room had bunk beds, there were HUGE water slides, mini golf, 3D movies, arcade, and food galore. Kristi and I agreed that had we not already had FREE tickets to Legoland we would have just stayed at the hotel the kids were having such a great time.

That night we made reservations to have dinner with the NINJA TURTLES! On the drive up we watched a Ninja Turtle movie to get the boys psyched to eat with them, however, the movie wasn't necessary they were already PSYCHED! It was an all you can eat pizza buffet with every kid food imaginable.

All 4 of them came by each table and took their pictures with the kids.

Every child who entered the restaurant got these cool masks.

 My boys we in HEAVEN!

 The turtles were super friendly.

 It never got old!

Then they asked all the kids to gather around them so they could teach them fighting moves!

And it ended with a dance! (My boys favorite part!)

Some of the scenery at the star studded hotel!

And we even caught one of the 4D movies, it was great!

Like I said if we didn't even make it to Legoland the kids would have been VERY happy!
To be continued.....

Sam Turns a Cheesy 4!

I can't believe it!!! My baby is turning 4. I know people say this all the time but really, "Where has the time gone?!" Sam has been planning his birthday party since December, my mother will tell you that's much like his own mother. He told me he wanted a monster truck party, and it had to be at Chuck E. Cheese. Whew! That was a hard combination to make happen, but after my Dixie Chick research......I did it!

Monster truck table decor. Each child had their own bucket with a dude rag, monster truck, tatoos, and sunglasses
Birthday boy, personalized t-shirt with age and name thanks to ETSY
Gammy having fun with her baby boy
Thanks Publix! Better than anything I could have done!
My baby!

Chuck E Cheese even came out to do a song and dance!

The ticket blaster!

He was a WINNER!

I HIGHLY recommend Chuck E Cheese for birthday parties, the kids LOVE IT!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was such a hit this year that Ben said, "Mommy, I love holidays!" Now although that was music to my ears that he appreciates what I have done, it sure does create more work for this full time working mommy of 3! (p.s. Did I mention I have a husband?!)

The boys woke up and found heart shaped donuts from Krispy Kreme. (My husband made a midnight run!)

Can't really go wrong with donuts for breakfast!

They look so pretty! (Especially paired with pink milk!)

In their bathroom they found hearts with reasons why Mommy and Daddy love them. One of the reasons is b/c Ben always asks questions, and his response was, "That doesn't sound like you love me!" LOL!

The Valentine's my boys gave to their classmates.

Hot chocolate gift baskets for the teachers, super easy and very inexpensive, all from the dollar section at Target. (Gotta love me some Target!)

Heart filled lunch!

After school the boys came home and we opened their Valentine gift. It was the gift set for Boogie Monster, follow up to Tickle Monster, I HIGHLY recommend it! It was a HUGE hit!

The boogie legs that come with the book.

And then of course we had to bust out the Tickle Monster paws!

We then enjoyed a heart pepperoni pizza, part of it is missing hearts b/c my picky eater husband won't eat pepperoni!

He liked it!

 The best Valentine's off all!

Melts my heart my boy can write!

Happy Valentine's Day ya'll!
